Janazah Wa Dafnu – Funeral and Burial of a Muslim or Muslimah. Preparing For The Inevitable Death Of A Believing Muslim

Have You Prepared For The Inevitable?

JWD was established in 2019 right before the pandemic swept the world. It took this much time to get back on track as the ummah and masjid returned to normal life. JWD is a spin off from JPP or Janazah Preparation Plan, a plan that was backed by Aegon Transamerica and that permitted Muslims to get burial insurance for as little as $8.53 per month, depending on age, gender and other factors. With more years of knowledge and wisdom and based upon market trends and experience, we have evolved to what JWD purports today. Our mission is to make sure every Muslim and Muslimah in America and the West, and then the entire world, is properly prepared for death and the Janazah Wa Dafnu process and that No Muslim Left Behind becomes a reality when it pertains to death. We want to take care of death so that the focus on life can be much greater knowing that the finality of life is already
covered. Inshallah.

Prepare For The Inevitable

What do you do when death occurs in the home, in a car accident, if sick in a nursing or retirement home or hospital? Who do you call? What do you do with the remaining bills? Where are the funds, who is owed money, how do you disconnect a dead person from the civil and social system? What do you do with the remains and wealth, if any? JWD Guide is a step-by-step guide to what a Muslim or Muslimah needs to do when death occurs. The Guide should be completed and then a copy should be stored with the owner and his or her spouse and responsible children should have access to it, and the imam or responsible Muslim administration of the masjid should have access to it, along with any
designated beneficiaries, trustees or executors of estates, or attorneys. Get your JWD Guide now!

Order Kaffan/Personal Janazah Kit

Every Muslim and Muslimah, regardless of age or mathhab should have his or her own personal kaffan set aside for his or her personal burial. Death is certain; life is not. Having a kaffan is part of being prepared for death. Order your personal kaffan or janazah kit now!

The Janazah Fund

The Janazah Fund is strictly for the support of burying Muslim men, women and children who do not have insurance or money to receive proper burials and funerals, and to offset the gaps in funding to cover the costs. The Janazah Fund is a General Fund for all Muslimoon and Muslimaat regardless of whether they are members of JWD or not. Our mission is: No Muslim Left Behind! Give as often as an generously as you like. Give now!

Ibn ‘Umar (ra) reports: “I came to the Prophet (saws) and I was the tenth of the first ten people (who embraced Islam). A man from among the Ansar got up and said, “O Prophet of Allah, who is the most sagacious and most prudent among the people?” He (rasoolullah [saws]) replied, “Those who are most aware of death and prepare themselves for it. They are the wisest of people and will have honor in this world and a generous reward in the Hereafter.” Narrated by At-Tabarani.
